Tyler Millwood Masters Dixie Speedway for First Win of 2026
KINGSTON, Ga. (May 5, 2026) — Tyler Millwood turned a double-duty weekend into his first victory of the season this past week at his home track.
The Kingston, Georgia native dominated the 604 Crate Late Model division at Dixie Speedway, backing up fast time honors with a flag-to-flag victory in the 20-lap feature aboard his Rocket Chassis / Durham Racing Engines-powered No. 31.
“Feels good,” Millwood said. “We’ve been staying pretty close to home this year, but it’s always nice to get the first one checked off. Big thanks to my crew for busting their butts and all of our sponsors for their continued support. There’s a lot that goes into making this happen, and I’m grateful for everyone’s help.”
Millwood made the short 30-minute trip to the legendary Georgia oval on Saturday, where he competed in both the Late Model and Modified divisions. While he swept the Late Model program, he faced more of a challenge in the Modified ranks.
After a third-place finish in his heat race, Millwood started from the ninth row and charged forward nine positions in the 30-lap feature to record a seventh-place finish.
